Butterfly Pin

A beautiful Peacock Butterfly enamelled pin produced from one of my original digital paintings.

I usually like to paint from my own photographs but this particular butterfly is from a photo my sister sent me. It was sitting on her lawn when she returned home from a major op. It stood out to her because she rarely sees butterflies in her garden and it stayed with her for many hours.
After looking up butterfly symbolism, we both agreed it was a positive sign of better things to come.
You can of course attribute meaning to anything in life, but whatever your belief system, butterflies still remind us of spending a period in the dark and then emerging once more into the light - this time with wings. What's not to love about that!
It seems a fitting message for us all right now and that's why I decided to produce this pin. A reminder that we're all capable of transformation if we can just hold on to a little bit of hope.

This butterfly measures approximately 40 x 30mm.
Fittingly it has a butterfly clasp on the reverse.
It will be sent beautifully packaged by first class mail.
